Adam Lallana, who has 112 appearances in the Liverpool shirt, joined the Merseysiders in 2014. He should have been much more central to the Liverpool team.
His unfulfilled promise can be largely attributed to the injuries he suffered during his Anfield tenure. Now though, Liverpool should cash in on him. This season, he has only made 13 appearances this season.
The attacking midfielder has a contract that expires in 2020 summer. It should give Liverpool reason to sell him in the summer, as he is obviously not getting younger at 30 years of age.
The central midfielder should go for something around £10-15 million.
Extending the contract of an aging attacker on the wrong side of 30 is never a wise option. Would Liverpool do it?
