The return of Son Heung Min have significantly boosted Mauricio Pochettino’s side but Ten Hag says that his team won’t sit back and defend their advantage and rather take the game to the opposition.
“We have to win the match. We will play for that, and focus on that. We will play to our own strength and with respect for adversary – we will play to our own strength. We have to win. It’s a new game we have to play. : Ten Hag said
“Last week the away goal was important – we made it and won. We have to finish at home. That will demand something from our mindset.
“We must start from 0-0, play our own game in the full arena, incredible atmosphere. That will help us, we have to do it ourselves, stay close to ourselves, and keep playing our style.
“If we play our own strength, we have self-confidence, we are fit, we are eager, we are ready, we know what we play for.
“We’ve experienced it before with Juventus and Real Madrid, first match you saw during it the team has ability to adapt to play at higher level.
“We have to make that step tomorrow, and take it with us, last week’s experience. Tomorrow we will have to make the step, transcend boundaries.”
Mauricio, I hope you’re listening!
Come on you Spurs!
