Former Spain goalkeeper Alberto Lopez has said that Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal could be an ideal signing for Liverpool.
The 22-year-old has scored 13 goals and chipped in with two assists for the club in La Liga last season.
Lopez thinks that Liverpool should attempt to sign Mikel in this summer window as he can play on either flank and his dribbling ability allows him to deceive the defenders with his pace.
He feels that the Spaniard is a highly energetic player, who can easily adjust playing well in the Liverpool attack and provide much needed depth to our front three.
Lopez, in an interview with Marca, told: “He has a lot of talent and I think there could be a big team (perfect for him) like Chelsea or Liverpool.”
Mikel is being considered as one of the great players of future; given that, he is one of the few top- class orthodox wingers in the European football
Mikel has two caps to his name for Spain and has scored one goal against Sweden for UEFA Euro 2020 qualification.
He has played 15 matches for Spain’s U21 team.
