Former Wolves star Andy Gray thinks has revealed that someone told him that Chelsea could look to sign Wilfred Zaha as Hazard’s replacement in the summer.
Eden Hazard’s move to Real Madrid has been ever looming and discussing the possible scenario if it goes through, Gray said:
“Well they might buy Wilfried Zaha, somebody was suggesting to me,
“Maybe it [replacement for Hazard] is just the other side of London.”
Fellow BEin Sports Pundit Ally McCoist who is a fan of Zaha still found the Ivory Coast international to be inadequate of filling Hazard’s shoes.
“[Zaha] is [a terrific player],
“I think he’s a great talent, I really do think he’s a great talent.
“But I honestly believe Hazard will be almost irreplaceable.
“That’s the value he has been for Chelsea this year.”
