Manchester United Star Anthony Martial’s representatives have hit a new low by defending their client through the latest Instagram post.

Widely regarded as one of the most talented players in the world, Anthony Martial has been heavily criticized for his careless attitude and lack of professionalism during his time at Manchester United.

We have already covered in our previous post that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is unconvinced with the Frenchman due to his attitude in training and during the game.

The video of Anthony Martial doing a lazy warmup routine pre-match has already been doing the rounds:

And now USFA Management, the agency that represents the 23-year-old has come out in the defence of their client, albeit in a very ridiculous kind of way. Take a look for yourself:

USFA Management has compared their client to the likes of Ryan Giggs, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo, all legends of Manchester United and football in general and few of the very best to ever grace the pitch.

Anthony Martial, for all his talents and abilities in the world, hasn’t even achieved 5% of what those guys achieved in their careers, let alone being compared to the greats. To say that posting that image was a bad idea is an understatement, in fact, it’s an insult to those 3 guys who have won everything there is to win, thanks to their hard work, passion and love for the club.

Manchester United fans obviously haven’t taken this post kindly and have vented their frustration by describing it as “comical” and an “insult” to Giggs, Beckham and Ronaldo.

What do you think of this whole situation? Does Anthony Martial deserve to be a part of our squad next season?
