Manchester United youngster’s got another run out in the training this week before their final Premier League game of the season and it was the youngster Arnau Puigmal who caught the eye of the media.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to make a number of changes with a lot of academy players set to start for the Red Devils against Cardiff on Sunday.
There are familiar names like Tahith Chong, Mason Greenwood and now there’s another youngster who could make his debut for the club; Arnau Puigmal.
The 18-year-old is a versatile player who can cover for the 3 problem positions for Solskjaer. The Spaniard can play on the Right Wing, as a Right Back and could also slot in the Central Midfield.
Antonio Valencia is set to depart at the end of the season and United are in the need of a proper right winger, thus, Arnau Puigmal could be a brilliant option for the gaffer if he can prove himself on the big stage.
With Ander Herrera walking out on a free, the 18-year-old’s ability to play in the Central Midfield could also come in handy for the Norwegian.
After all, we would be playing the Europa League next season, Europe’s second best competition, which is the breeding ground for the young players to make their mark on the world stage.
