According to reports in Brazil media, Arsenal has successfully won the bid to sign the Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli.
The 17- year-old has scored ten goals in 31 games for the Sao Paulo based club, Ituano.
The youngster has been the centre of attraction among the top clubs of Europe, as Manchester United missed out the opportunity to sign him.
Per the reports published in Yahoo Esportes in Brazil, the North London club has won the race to Martinelli’s signature after reaching a verbal agreement for signing the player who’s in demand.
Arsenal has reached on the consensus to pay around €6million (£5m) for Martinelli. Other clubs like Palmeiras, Flamengo, Leeds United, Middlesbrough and Barcelona were also interested in the striker.
