Arsenal fans will be delighted to know what the Bournemouth manager has to say about Gunner’s transfer target Ryan Fraser.
The 41 -year- old manager when quizzed about the future of Fraser, the cherries boss hinted that the winger could be heading for Arsenal this summer.
Fraser has been very much impressive this season in the Premier League with six goals and ten assists and has certainly caught the attention of the Arsenal boss.
“Ryan has contributed to the team this season, but it’s not the time to talk about speculation,” Howe said.
“Who knows in the summer?
“It is that time of year when things change, and us ourselves will be looking to sign players.”
The Scottish international will be out of contract at the end of next season and although, according to Howe, discussions are underway to negotiate the new signings, as nothing is confirmed yet.
“We have spoken to Ryan and his representatives about his contract,” Howe added.
“It is one where we will see what happens.
“There is no doubting Ryan’s quality and how highly we think of him.
“He is an outstanding talent, but it is a two-way prospect to sign a contract so let’s wait and see.
Fraser recently acknowledged that he was overwhelmed by the interest from a “massive club” but insisted he won’t be changing how he approaches games.
“I’m not going to lie, it’s very nice,” he told Sky Sports News.
“It means you are doing something right.
“They are a huge club, a massive club.
“When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well.”
