Arsenal is reportedly linked with a move for Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini in this summer transfer window.
Gunners boss Unai Emery has a tough task to reinforce his squad with a cash strapped budget of £45m.
The North London outfit also missed out on the Champions League qualification for the next season.
Pellegrini has a buy out clause of £27m in his current deal which would be favourable to Arsenal, according to Dailystar
The 22-year-old is also attracting interest from Tottenham, AC Milan and Inter Milan, while Spurs and Arsenal are already in contacts with the player’s agent.
Pellegrini’s contract with the Serie A club runs until the summer of 2022, but it seems that Roma is keen on him to sign a new contract.
Roma also missed out the Champions League spot for next season but would hope to lure him by offering him the captaincy for the upcoming season.
The Italy international has made 33 appearances last season, as he scored four goals and provided seven assists.
Pellegrini has been a key player for the club in the past two seasons and has made 70 appearances and has also featured ten times for the national team.
