Media reports suggest that Arsenal is in the race along with Fenerbahce and Lyon for signing Emmanuel Dennis from the Belgium club Brugge.
All the three clubs are in a coup for the 21-year-old striker, who has netted seven goals in 32 matches in across all the competitions, last season for the Belgian side.
Gunners and Lyon have already made a bid of 12m for the Nigerian international, as both the clubs are keen to bolster their attack for the next season.
With the departure of Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal lacks a quality player in the midfield who can rotate tha ball as well as lead the attack.
It will be an absolute bargain if Emery gets the deal on the table for the Nigerian winger with Arsenal’s midfield requiring fresh blood.
Fenerbahce and Lyon in the chase for Dennis, which suggest that he may not be a world-beating prospect, but Emery’s approach at the moment is to bring younger players and transform them into stars.
Dennis would have made a big impression in Belgium, but his club team-mate Wesley could be better than him.

The 25-year-old made a move to China last year in February and has scored 14 times and provided 11 key assists in 36 appearances for the Blue Hawks in across all the competitions.
The Belgian international recently expressed his desire that he would be interested in a move to the Premier League this summer, although, Arsenal have been linked in taking his services.
“There is now an offer on the table, and the negotiations with my agent are progressing well. I am the most important player in the club, but I hope the chairman understands me,” Carrasco told Nieuwsblad.
Carrasco started his professional football career with the French club Monaco before moving to Atletico Madrid in 2015.
