Davies and Andre Gomes praised after a convincing victory over West Ham

Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman has heaped praise on Tom Davies and Andre Gomes for their roles in the Toffees’ 2-0 win over West Ham.

Speaking to BT Sport after the match, Osman said: “So far this season, there’s been too many performances that haven’t been up to the standard you expect but they’ve shown what they’re capable of out there on the field today.

“I thought Gomes was terrific but I thought Davies deserved a lot of credit next to him.
