Arsenal has joined the race to sign Sporting Lisbon captain Bruno Fernandes this summer, according to O Jogo, a Portuguese news outlet.
Reports also suggest that Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also in the hunt for the Portuguese.
With the summer window approaching, Gunners are looking for a replacement for the Juventus bound Ramsey this summer and Fernandez could be the ideal replacement if Emery can bring the talented midfielder to the North London outfit.
The 24-year-old is currently playing for Sporting CP and having scored 28 goals in all the competitions and also provided 15 crucial assists.
Sporting will be willing to accept a cut-price fee of just £30 million for him, well short of his £85 million release clause.
