United should entertain £160m+ offers for Paul Pogba because he is not the type of player Solskjaer wants in his team says Guillem Balague.
Solskajaer managed to revive United’s fortunes back in his days as the interim manager, winning 14 out of 19 games in that time.
Things haven’t been as smooth for him since his team have only managed two victories in 12 games after his appointment as the permanent United manager.
Pogba who initially showed glimpses of promise under Solskjaer had seen a sudden nosedive in form so much so that he clashed with a few Man United supporters on the final day of the Premier League campaign.
To make matters worse for the Frenchman, He earlier in the season revealed that it was his dream to play for Real Madrid and Balague seems to think it will be the right move for all parties involved.
He should have. More effort is required on everyone’s part. I’m just commenting off the backdrop of the abuse on Sunday. Pogba isn’t perfect wangu but gets an unfair amount of criticism while players like Martial, who show even less effort ,skate by pic.twitter.com/90IWPzh2po

“Let me tell you the latest on Pogba,” he said on his YouTube channel. “[Zinedine] Zidane continues to say he’s the one I want.
“He thinks that he may actually play with two holding midfielders, Casemiro and somebody else in the middle, perhaps [Federico] Valverde, perhaps another one, and would allow Pogba to play in front of them. That will be the plan.
“Very expensive. Manchester United keep saying they’re not selling.
“I’m starting to think, for the kind of profile of player that Solskjaer wants, Pogba is not needed.”
He continued: “So if Real Madrid are serious about it and they want to put £160m plus on the table, I wonder if Manchester United will basically listen.
“Because the analysis of Pogba is that people don’t know the real Pogba. What they see is the Pogba that posts things in the social media etcetera, but generally inside the camp he is a good leader in good moments.
“Not so much a good leader in bad moments, and right now what Manchester United needs is a leader that actually overcomes the difficulties and takes everybody in the direction that Solskjaer wants.
“I’m not sure Pogba is that kind of guy. And if he isn’t, why would Manchester United need him?”
