Barcelona vs Man United injury news: 2 players return, 1 won’t even fly

Manchester United have a mountain to climb as the Red Devils travel to Barcelona to take on the Spanish powerhouse in the second leg of the Champions League.

OGS and co. have a 1-0 deficit from the first leg and we will have to play our best game of the season to have any chance for qualifying in the next round.

It is doable though and Manchester United have received a massive injury boost with the return of Nemanja Matic and Alexis Sanchez to training.

The duo missed the last fixture against Barcelona due to injury issues, but they should be fit enough to feature at some point in the game, if not for 90 minutes.

However, Ander Herrera still remains sidelined with an injury and he is expected to sit it out at the Old Trafford. The Spaniard’s contract situation at United is an ongoing mess and that could also be one of the reasons for his absence.

What would your starting lineup be against Barcelona? Would you start Ashley Young with Luke Shaw suspended for the game?
