Mark Lawrenson the former Liverpool footballer and current sports pundit writes a column for the BBC Sport section. Being an ex-Liverpudlian he is bound to discuss the matches we have to play.
Cardiff are the first team on Liverpool’s radar, followed by Huddersfield at home. Mark Lawrenson thinks that while Cardiff will try to put up a fight, after beating Chelsea and Porto, Liverpool can not be stopped.
He also discusses the prospect of Jurgen Klopp’s men winning the Champions League. According to him there is only one hurdle in their path: Messi & Co.
“Cardiff will be competitive, especially at home, but at the moment Liverpool just seem to be able deal with whoever they are up against.
“I was impressed by the way Jurgen Klopp’s side put Chelsea away on Sunday and they never looked like slipping up against Porto on Wednesday.
“Can the Reds win the Champions League?”
