Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is very pleased with his new January signing Bruno Fernandes, and believes the former Sporting midfielder’s brain is “quicker than many others.”
After a transfer drama that spanned over one-and-a-half-season, Manchester United finally signed Fernandes just before the end of the January transfer window on a five-and-a-half-year deal.
Manchester United have reportedly paid Sporting Lisbon up to £50million to bring the Portuguese midfielder to the Old Trafford.
Solskjaer told in an interview with the club’s official website:
Well, overall, he [Fernandes] is a very, very good footballer and his brain is obviously quicker than many others.
“He has got loads of attributes that we are going to get used to. We will get used to him and he will get used to us.
“His passing range, his deliveries, his movements, I am just pleased to see him here enjoying himself.”
Bruno Fernandes impressed many Manchester United fans during his debut against a difficult Wolves side, and despite the game ending in a draw, there are still high hopes for Fernandes to succeed at Old Trafford.
