Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United: £63m deal agreed as per reports

Manchester United have reached an agreement with Sporting CP worth £63million for Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes, according to the latest reports.

Bruno Fernandes has been a long term target for the Red Devils, however, Sporting CP and Manchester United have been unable to come to a financial agreement for the Portuguese midfielder in the past few months.

But that seems to have changed recently, as per the latest reports, the Red Devils have reached a £63m agreement with Sporting and the midfielder is all ready to jet in for a medical.

The Portuguese has already spoken about Manchester United transfer during the preseason game against Liverpool, earlier this week. Here’s what he said:

‘The president decides that, not me,’ he told Portuguese media.

‘I don’t care about the market, I’ve talked about this many times. The only thing I can do now is that I need to catch the plane so I don’t miss it.

‘Will this be the last match for Sporting? I don’t know, it’s the coach who decides.

‘I told you I’d like to play in England, but it may be when the club decides.’

It’s no secret that the midfielder would love to play in the Premier League, preferably for Manchester United next season, and thanks to his incredible skills and talents (32 goals last season from the midfield), he would fit right in at the Old Trafford.

However, there have been too many hiccups in the Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United transfer saga already and it would be wise to wait patiently and see where these rumors go in the next few days.

Would you like to see the 24-year-old Bruno Fernandes in the Manchester United shirt next summer? Or do you think the Portuguese star is way overpriced and we can do better than him?

  2. Stephen Anderson Reply

From all the reports and the fact some managers like Klopps statement “I will not be happy if Fernandes joins United” I think he will be a player we could do with.

  3. MUHWEZI DEUS Reply

I will just feel happy and much more excited after reading this statement “done deal”Bruno Fernandez has successfully passed medical at Manchester united!

  4. I would love for this to be true because he is the best playmaker at this moment in time. I think if we take Semedo from Barca then he can become a very good attacking player because we have Wan at RB.

  5. The club need to stop wasting time to bring Bruno Fernandes to Olt Trafford, because his will bring many things to the club at all.
In this Case, the person to blame is Ed. Woodward is looking like his doesn’t care about the success of the Club since Ferguson’s have retired.
You can’t always be right and all the Coaches who have been involved with the team are wrong and only you who’s right. The team cannot be at that top you wish without the best player’s up front.
That’s why, we’re supporting the allegations of Gary Neville who say that Ed. Woodward must be Sacked from the Club, for United to have success.
We, United Fans, we need to see Bruno Fernandes before the next game MC vs MU upfronts.
We need also James Maddison, Grealish, and Soumare from Lyon.
Look how City’s players are, strongs, determined and focused, creative, etc.., Liverpool as well we need that type of players at Manchester United,

  6. If you guys really want those people out why don’t the supporters organise a stay away and not attend any home games. You can still support from the pubs or watch at home. That should make a dent in the pocket
