Manchester United have reached an agreement with Sporting CP worth £63million for Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes, according to the latest reports.
Bruno Fernandes has been a long term target for the Red Devils, however, Sporting CP and Manchester United have been unable to come to a financial agreement for the Portuguese midfielder in the past few months.
But that seems to have changed recently, as per the latest reports, the Red Devils have reached a £63m agreement with Sporting and the midfielder is all ready to jet in for a medical.
The Portuguese has already spoken about Manchester United transfer during the preseason game against Liverpool, earlier this week. Here’s what he said:
‘The president decides that, not me,’ he told Portuguese media.
‘I don’t care about the market, I’ve talked about this many times. The only thing I can do now is that I need to catch the plane so I don’t miss it.
‘Will this be the last match for Sporting? I don’t know, it’s the coach who decides.
‘I told you I’d like to play in England, but it may be when the club decides.’
It’s no secret that the midfielder would love to play in the Premier League, preferably for Manchester United next season, and thanks to his incredible skills and talents (32 goals last season from the midfield), he would fit right in at the Old Trafford.
However, there have been too many hiccups in the Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United transfer saga already and it would be wise to wait patiently and see where these rumors go in the next few days.
Would you like to see the 24-year-old Bruno Fernandes in the Manchester United shirt next summer? Or do you think the Portuguese star is way overpriced and we can do better than him?
