Carragher and Gary Neville tussle on twitter over who will win Champions League

Liverpool are playing the Champions League finals for the second consecutive season. Losing to Real Madrid last season was painful and every single fan will tell you they want the European crown after missing out on the league by a single point.

The final between Tottenham and Liverpool at Wanda Metropolitano will be watched by millions around the world but is already a big topic of discussion in Social media. Recently Gary Neville was brought into the conversation about the event by an enthusiastic fan.

Gary Neville shamelessly riding on the back of Liverpool against Spurs
Gary Neville has said the UCL trophy is already in Liverpool’s bag. Is it possible?

Liverpool are going to win, without a shadow of a doubt. That is what Neville sort of said with his response. You’d be surprised to think that a United legend has so much belief in Liverpool. However, it might just be the forced humble-pie that United fans have been eating for the past six seasons, garnished with Liverpool’s re-emergence.

Jamie Carragher was quick to snap a response despite Neville’s more or less positive response for Liverpool.

The pair are known to share banters against each other’s club and this is surely just an extension of the same. Liverpool are not as overconfident as Gary Neville would want us to be. That actually works in Tottenham’s favour. Mistakes will certainly be corrected from the last final, starting with a fully fit Salah playing the match on June 1.
