Sky Sports pundit Darren Bent says that there is a possibility for Jurgen Klopp to make some important signings in the transfer window, according to kopspot
Jurgen Klopp doesn’t need to spend a considerable amount of money on making signings for the coming season. The Red’s boss has received a lot of applauds after a great season.
The Merseyside club amassed 97 points in the Premier League, as they just missed out on winning the title by a single point to Manchester City.
If Klopp wants to help his side win the Premier League title next season, then Liverpool boss should focus on bringing more young players into the squad.
That player maybe Ajax star Matthijs de Ligt, who captained the Dutch team to the Eredivisie title last season.
Ajax also reached the semifinals of the Champions League and was eliminated by a last-minute Tottenham goal.
But, Sky Sports pundit Darren Bent has ruled out the possibility of Klopp adding even more quality to his defence.
According to the former Spurs star, Liverpool could pull off a surprise deal by signing a player like De Ligt this summer.
“They may go out and surprise everybody and go and get De Ligt, Virgil’s Dutch team-mate,” Bent said, as per the Daily Star
“If they can manage to pull that one off and those two can play together, that would be brilliant.”
The German boss is known to give opportunities to the young talented players at the club like Trent- Alex -Arnold who has already become a world class full back.
