Manchester United have made transfer U-turn on David De Gea and now are ready to meet the wage demand of the Spaniard in order for him to sign a new contract at United.
Earlier, it was reported that De Gea was asking for a £350,000-a-week contract that the Red Devils were unwilling to agree on.
However, according to the latest reports, the further talks between De Gea’s representatives and United have convinced Ed Woodward and co. and they are ready to offer him the deal he desires.
Now 28-years-old, De Gea is still one of the best Keepers in the world and this could be the last big contract of his career.
Nothing’s been official yet, but the news will calm down the nerves of many United fans who were scared of De Gea leaving the Old Trafford in the summer.
Doubts still linger over the future of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera and Romelu Lukaku.
