David Neres has said that he is dreaming of playing in the Premier League given that Liverpool has shown interest in signing the Ajax forward in this summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old revealed his dream of making a move to the Premier League amid reports suggesting that Everton is also keen to sign the Brazilian forward.
The Sun claimed in May that Neres is in the wishlist of both Everton and Liverpool this summer, with a reported fee of worth £35million which may seem to be enough to land the inform Ajax star.
The former Sao Paulo striker has won four Brazil caps, and also scored in a friendly against Honduras before the start of Copa America this month.
Neres is currently serving his national duty as Brazil’s seeks to win their first Copa America since they last won it way back in 2007.
Neres said, “When I’m in the national team, I try to stay focused, I’ll leave it aside with my agents,”
Neres further said, “Of course the Premier League interests me; it’s the best league in the world, I always had the dream to play there.”
Neres will be an excellent signing for Liverpool as he scored 12 goals and provided on 15 assists in the last season.
He would certainly give a tough competition for the aforementioned Salah and Mane in the starting lineup.
