Diogo Dalot has sent a warning to United-bound Aaron Wan Bissaka insisting that he wants to cement the right-back spot at the club for years to come.
Despite United’s persistent interest in Wan Bissaka, Dalot says that he’s ready to prove to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he’s the man for the job.

Dalot signed for the Red Devils in 2018 under compatriot Jose Mourinho who touted him as long term replacement for departing United skipper Antonio Valencia.
The Portuguese only managed 16 appearances last term playing second-fiddle to Ashley Young.
The Red Devils have reportedly had a bid worth £40million turned down by Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan Bissaka, who are standing firm on their £60million asking price.
Should United feel reluctant to match Palace’s demands the deal could fall through creating an opening for Dalot which he is ready to grab with both hands.
“I just need to push on,
“My goal is to make right-back my own.” he told the club’s official website.
“I know that some people thought I might come here and not play as much as I have.
“Some people thought I would play more.
”We all have different opinions but, overall, I think it was a very good season to settle in, start to know the club, know the league, know the atmosphere and now there is no excuse for next season.
”I only started playing properly and had my fitness in December, so it’s been very good for me to have the opportunity to play in some different positions.
“I want to make my statement in the team and play as much as I can at right-back because, I think it’s my best position. I just need to prove that to the manager with my work.”
So Manchester United fans!
Between Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan Bissaka, who would you prefer as your right back next season?
