There have been questions over the attitude and loyalty of the current crop of Manchester United players in recent times with the players criticized for giving up on the culture of Manchester United.

There have also been calls for bringing the old guard back at Manchester United to ingrain the leadership, discipline and culture that makes a true Manchester United player.

Ed Woodward has already held talks with the likes of Darren Fletcher, Rio Ferdinand, Peter Schmeichel and Paul Scholes to make a comeback at the club in some capacity and now Woodward has contacted Vidic to take over some kind of backstage role at the Old Trafford.

Manchester United’s assistant coach Mike Phelan has already expressed his desire to take over extra responsibilities after the backroom shuffle that is imminent in the summer.

And now, Nemanja Vidic, who has won 5 Premier League Titles and a Champions League during his eight and a half year stay at the Old Trafford, could be in line for a comeback too.
