Manchester United chief Ed Woodward wants the club to complete two signings by the start of July as the squad prepares for pre-season.
Woodward has promised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a transfer kitty in excess of a £100m as the Norwegian looks to oversee a major overhaul of personnel at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have not made a signing as of yet but Welsh winger Daniel James did undergo his medical at Carrington yesterday and his arrival is imminent.
United have also shown interest in Ajax Skipper Matthijs De Ligt, reportedly offering him a £350,000-a-week contract to fend off competition from Barcelona.
Signing a world class defender is on top of United’s agenda and the club also want to complete two key signings before the start of July ahead of their pre-season training camp.
‘Some of the staff at Carrington have been told to expect at least two new faces visiting before training on July 1,’ a source at United told The Sun.
“The red carpet is being rolled out to prospective signings and their agents, showing them all we have to offer.
‘We are pretty confident a couple are close to getting over the line. Talks are going well and have been before the end of last season.
‘There could be as many as four that join up with the rest of the squad in upcoming tour of Australia and Far East.’
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also eager to get rid of the deadwood with as many as 14 expected to be shown the exit door.
Woodward will also play a crucial role in keeping the current bunch together at Old Trafford as future’s of some of there top stars like David De Gea, Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez remain uncertain.
