Arsenal is hoping to see its several key players in the starting XI ahead of the crucial clash with Napoli tonight.
Both Laurent Koscielny and Granit Xhaka’s fitness is being analysed and could make a return to the side against Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
The skipper has not been a part of the lineup since suffering from an injury, while Xhaka had a groin problem, ruling the pair out of the past two matches.
Koscielny and Xhaka are back to the training and have a chance of making to the final line up as Emery looks to field a strong team for the fixture.
While, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to play if he recovers an illness in time, out of action for the last two games
Speaking about the Gabon striker, Emery said: “He had a small problem, and he has been taking antibiotics because he is sick.
“That is the reason he didn’t start the last two matches.”
“We are going to decide tomorrow [on Xhaka and Koscielny]. Tomorrow we will decide,” added Emery.
Rob Holding, Hector Bellerin and Danny Welbeck have been away from the action from a long time, but Sokratis is back after facing suspension and expected in back three, having now picked up a domestic suspension.
The Welsh man was out after a 1-0 defeat to Everton but should be fit to play against Napoli, and will face a competition along with Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi for a midfield role.
Alexandre Lacazette could be dropped only if Emery plans to set only one central striker.
