Arsenal boss Unai Emery has provided a crucial injury update on Laurent Koscielny and Granit Xhaka ahead of the Europa League quarter-final first leg clash with Napoli this Friday.
Emery said: “I don’t know. We were waiting to see if Laurent could play today, but yesterday morning we knew it wasn’t possible. I want to be positive for Thursday, and it depends on how he is progressing.
“Xhaka is the same. They are going to be doubts for Thursday. But we have players and can take the performance with all the players.”
The Gunners boss is hoping for Koscielny’s come back who is suffering from an injury after a 3-0 defeat at the Watford.
While Sokratis picked up his tenth booking of the season, leaving the Greek international with a two-match ban.
