Tottenham Hotspur are playing Liverpool in Madrid on Saturday. The trophy waiting at the end of the game is the Champions League. Pochettino would want to win it and so will any player if you asked him. The media doesn’t want to ask questions related to that, but they do ask about transfers.
According a report from Football.London, the midfielder is so focused on the final that he stormed out of a press meet. Eriksen is known to be reluctant when asked about his future and the trend continues. He was asked about the journey Tottenham took in reaching the final in Madrid. The Dane was happy to answer those questions.
As soon as someone asked him about whether he will be at Spurs or elsewhere, he refused to answer. In fact, Eriksen walked out, saying something along the lines of “Not talking about that, sorry! Only Final related questions.”
If you look at the conditions and the effect mentality can have during such a massive game as the UCL final, his decision seems right. With only about a day remaining for the final, everyone needs to be focused at the big task at hand.
“It’s a final so I hope everyone can control their emotions. Our stress levels will be a bit higher – it’s a Champions League Final and the build-up is long, but it’s something you have to prepare for. Emotionally it’s just about being there on game day,”

There’s every chance that Tottenham go on and lift that trophy. In that case, maybe Eriksen will not be so shy to talk about his future. For the time being, the only thing that matters is the Champions League final. COYS!
