Everton Boss Marko Silva is looking to bolster his midfield in the summer and that merits a potential swoop for the 20-year-old even more.
Sosa ideally is a deep-lying midfielder who likes to keep hold of the ball and sets the tempo for the team with his passing range and a strong sense of positioning.
The Toffee’s have been searching for such a player since Gareth Barry’s departure and it may become even more crucial as Andre Gomes’ permanent future at Goodison Park remains at large.
The Argentine could fit in ideally with Idrissa Gueye (If he stays), with the Senegalese breaking opposition’s play and Sosa setting the tempo for Everton.
The arrival of Sosa could be a major boost for Everton’s attempts to finish inside the top six next season.
