Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was revealed that Barcelona are have set an asking price of €30m(£26.58m) for Andre Gomes.

Everton hierarchy have however contacted Barca to lower the aforementioned asking price which has not gone down well with the some of the supporters.
While some of the fans believe that the Toffees should not succumb to Barca’s incessant demands.

The thing with this deal, we can let it drag out. We’re not trying to buy an unknown quantity, he knows us and will slot in whenever he comes so we can wait, but can Barca knowing they need to sell to balance the books & do their own business? We’re in a great position on this 1!

Agreed. Frankly, that figure is too high and I'm not sure he's the best fit to begin with.
