Aaron Wan-Bissaka has reiterated his desire to stay at Crystal Palace during the upcoming season, and thus, Everton’s hopes of getting him this summer have taken a significant blow.
The Crystal Palace defender has several suitors who want to sign him after his excellent performance in the Premier League this season; however, it seems he’s happy being part of the current Eagle’s team as it’s helping him in continuing his development.
According to an interview given to the Evening Standard:
“The situation just shows that my performances don’t go unnoticed. But I am with Crystal Palace at the moment.
That is where my contract is, and that is where I will be next season. I have got three years left on my contract. It says I am going to be there, so that is all I can focus on now.”
Along with Tottenham and Manchester United, Everton were said to be interested the right-back this season.
At Palace’s presentation night, the 21-year-old starlet was awarded the Players’ Player of the Season, Player of the Season, and the PFA Community Champion Award. He was the Eagles’ Young Player of the Season just a year ago too.
