Ex-Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has made a Paul Pogba transfer admission revealing that his former team are interested in the Frenchman.
Pogba keeps on getting linked with a move away from Old Trafford as the speculations on his future grow rife.
Real Madrid, who endured a terrible campaign this season are looking to assemble another set of galacticos to boost the bid for next season’s title Challenge and Pogba is touted to be high on their priority list.
Although, United are not willing to sell their star man as he is believed to be central to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s idea for seasons to come as much that there have been rumours that he might be handed the club’s captaincy.
When quizzed regarding who could make the galactico ensemble this season, Former Real Chief Calderon hinted that the Los Blancos were interested in Pogba and dismissed the prospect of signing PSG Star Neymar.
“Neymar is a top player, but I don’t see him,” Calderon told Sky Sports. “His behaviour in the last teams he has been in I don’t think is the best one. He is not the best reference for coming to Real Madrid.
“Pogba? Maybe. Some of the player that Zidane has said he would really like him to come. Now it would be a problem of money.
“Our president has decided to invest ridiculous money in our stadium because we (already) have a fantastic stadium.”
Seems a little odd doesn’t it? Manchester United overpowering Real Madrid financially for a player?
