Chelsea will announce Frank Lampard as their new boss by next week, once the Derby County recruits a new boss as a replacement for the Englishman, according to Metro
Reports in ESPN claim that Lampard has emerged as Roman Abramovich’s first choice for the high profile job and it is expected that the club will be able to confirm his appointment next week.
Chelsea is set to pay Derby a compensation fee of £4million and wants to keep a hold on finalising the deal until they look out for an ideal replacement for the departing former Chelsea player.
Chelsea will confirm Lampard’s arrival by next week, who is being expected to sign a three-year deal.
Chelsea academy coach Jody Morris and fitness coach Chris Jones will also be joining along with Lampard at the Stamford Bridge from the Derby County.
Petr Cech, the newly appointed technical and performance adviser, will be working closely with Lampard, while former Blues midfielder, Claude Makelele and Didier Drogba have also been reported to join with their old team-mate at the club with a new set of charges.
The two great Chelsea players- Frank Lampard and Peter Cech are set to work together and will also be expected to bring a change in the ideas and the strategy of the Chelsea management with their significant experience.
