Frank Lampard is set to sign an agreement to become the next Chelsea manager by the end of this week.
According to the Evening Standard, The former Chelsea midfielder, who is Chelsea’s first choice for the high profile job, will make a return to the Stamford Bridge, where he will be signing a three-year contract.
Chelsea has shown their interest to bring in Lampard, given the fact that he is a hugely popular choice among the fans.
Sportsmail revealed on Monday that Lampard is scheduled to meet Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to finalise his return to the club as the next manager.
Lampard’s ability to develop the young players has seen him be being considered as one of the best British bosses in English football.
Lampard has been a legendary player at Chelsea, having made over 400 appearances during his 13 years association with the club. He has proved that he is a competent manager in the profession.
He won the three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, a UEFA Europa League title, and also a Champions League trophy.
