Manchester United have been handed a transfer boost as Gareth Bale is heading closer to Real Madrid exit this summer.
The Welshman has been a long time target for the Red Devils but Ed Woodward failed to get the deal over the line on more than one occasions.
However, the return of Zidane at Bernabeu has come as bad news for the 29-year-old who was omitted from the matchday squad for the second successive week in Real Madrid’s 3-1 loss last night, even though Bale wasn’t carrying any sort of injury.
Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett was quizzed over the future of his client and whether he could make a return to the Premier League this season:
“I’m not sure Mr Zidane wants him to stay.
“It certainly is possible (a return to England this summer), if somebody puts their hand in their pocket.”
Barnett has already hinted that he would like the Welshman to return to the Premier League and it seems like the Real Madrid manager isn’t too keen on Bale’s stay either:
“We’ll see if he’s going to be (playing) next week. He’s fine physically. We will see the next game and next year. It’s clear what I’ve done for this week.”
It seems like Gareth Bale’s adventure at the Spanish Capital is finally coming to an end. Would you like us to spend anything North of 50 Million on the Welshman this summer?
