Gary Neville is a former Manchester United player and as such is bound to carry some hate for both Liverpool and City. However, we can’t tell if he hates us more or their own Citizens.
Liverpool have drawn two of the last ten games, while City are perfect. Perfection is not very common or everlasting in football. Gary Neville is leaning on probabilities here to declare that we are yet to see the last twist in this season’s Premier League title fight.
He thinks Burnley will be looking for some apprehension, or “mistake” from City.
“I don’t think Burnley will show a great amount of respect to Manchester City. I just can’t believe we’re not going to see a mistake. I can’t believe we’re going to see perfection until the end of the season.
“Manchester City would have to win 14 games on the bounce. That is unheard of. I can’t believe it, it’s absolutely ridiculous.”
