Restless Arsenal fans seized the opportune moment to mock the Spurs over their stadium attendance in their brand new stadium.

Tottenham played their first game in the new stadium beating Crystal Palace by 2-0.

The seating capacity of the stadium was the talk of the town with 59, 215 seats which were 2,000 seats less than that of their North London rivals Arsenal

When the match attendance from the last game was announced, the Gooners took to social media to take a dig on their rivals.

One wrote: “Spurs attendance tonight 3,000 under capacity??? Surely not!”

Another Arsenal fan tweeted: “Is this a joke… all that talk about the biggest stadium in London!”

“Forever in our shadow,” jabbed a third.

“A slap in the face to all those that couldn’t get tickets,” concluded one fan.

“I’m gonna be fuming if they’re corporate tickets or something – that’s almost 3000 fans who could’ve gone instead, including me!”
