Tottenham Hotspur reached the Champions League final this season but failed to lift the trophy. Spurs are also in thee market for a number of players. A number of Spurs players are expected to leave between now and the start of the next season, starting with Christian Eriksen.
The club has been linked with players for every position on the pitch but the most prominent have been midfielders. Donny Van De Beek is a player in the same mould as Eriksen and has 17 goals and 13 assists this season, making him a wanted player for the biggest clubs in Europe.
Donny van de Beek is on the transfer radars of clubs like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona. The 22 year old’s contract lasts upto 2022, so if any club wants him they will have to pay what Ajax demand. It is ironical that Eriksen was brought from Ajax in 2013 and after six years, Spurs maybe looking again at his old club for his replacement.
Harry Kane is praising familiar Tottenham targets
The good thing is that Spurs have sort of already scouted Donny when the two teams played in the semi-finals. He scored against Spurs in the first leg when Ajax took the lead. Good boy Harry Kane was right there on the sidelines to scout him. Here’s his scout report for Donny van de Beek:
“They’re obviously good players, they’ve had great seasons,”

Kane is talking about Frenkie de Jong and Donny van de Beek. The former is already set for a move to Barcelona worth £75 million. The amount will be similar if Spurs want to buy Frenkie’s team-mate Donny.
However, a reported amount of £100 million is available to Mauricio Pochettino to get the players that are Tottenham’s targets. The manager could add at least three players to challenge on all fronts next season. At least one of those players could be funded by the departure of Christian Eriksen.
So who do you prefer: Donny, Ndombele or Giovani Lo Celso?
