Liverpool came out as the winning team in the quarter-final match against Porto. However, some Porto supporters/Liverpool haters are harping on moments from the match and discrediting the effort over 90 minutes.
However, one person who should certainly understand that, despite what he says to the Press, is Porto boss Sérgio Conceição. It seems he knew what he was going up against in Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Liverpool scored two very early goals. First in the fourth minute from Keita’s shot. Second by Bobby Firmino in the 26th.
“We tried to hinder the areas where Liverpool are strong. We wanted to maintain good control of the space in our defensive third because Salah and Mané both play well on the inside,”
Okay, you knew Salah and Mane are dangerous around a goal. Good job Mr. Manager.
