‘I’d rather stick with Ole’ – These Man Utd fans wouldn’t want 52 year old at Old Trafford

Some Manchester United fans are keen on having Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stay at Old Trafford instead of having the Norwegian replaced by Massimiliano Allegri.

United are currently 10th in the Premier League, ten points off fourth-placed Chelsea. They are also 17 points behind table-toppers Liverpool.

Solskjaer’s men lost 1-0 to Bournemouth this past weekend. This defeat came after a 2-1 win over Chelsea in the League Cup and a 3-1 win away to Norwich in the Premier League (Sky Sports).

But the Red Devils have been linked with Allegri in recent weeks and Fabio Capello’s comments have sparked those rumours even more.

And United fans are not welcome to the idea of having the former Juventus and AC Milan boss at Old Trafford.

Allegri won the Serie A with Juventus last season and has won as many as six Scudetto titles in his career. He has won five of those with the Bianconeri, winning one of those during his spell at AC Milan. He has also won the Italian Cup four times at the Old Lady.

The Italian joined Juve in the summer of 2014 after the exit of Antonio Conte from the Turin-based side. Before that, Allegri was at Milan and was the San Siro for four years. He has also managed the likes of Cagliari, SPAL and Sassuolo in the past.

Allegri is said to be currently learning English and reports have said that he is keen on joining United and would like to take over from Solskjaer should the Norwegian leave the club at the end of the season.
