Scott McTominay has been brilliant for Manchester United as of late.

The Scot showed glimpses of his talent under the reign of Jose Mourinho but the youngster has hit new heights in the presence of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Everybody remembers his performance against PSG that helped us to qualify for the Quarter Finals in the Champions League, while his first goal earlier this week against Wolves just showed us why he’s so highly regarded by fans and Sir Alex alike.

The Central Midfield situation right now at United is something like this: Ander Herrera’s contract is up in the summer and he reportedly won’t renew it. Paul Pogba has been flirting with Real Madrid and there are doubts over his future too while the likes of Pereira and Fred still haven’t cemented their place in the lineup. That leaves us with Nemanja Matic who has touched the 30 mark!

Scott McTominay is young, talented, in form and has got a manager who trusts him to offer him opportunities at the highest level.

Now, it’s up to him to grab the chance and deliver the goods and what better place to do that than against Barcelona in the Champions League?
