Nice president Gauthier Ganaye has revealed his side’s interest in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud and that they could make a move given favourable business outcomes.
The Frenchman has been really vocal about his limited role in the side stating his displeasure playing second fiddle to first Alvaro Morata and now Gonzalo Higuain despite top-scoring in the Europa League with 10 goals which has seen him being linked with a flurry of Ligue 1 clubs.
Revealing Nice’s stance on a possible transfer, Ganaye said:
“He is at the end of his contract, he still performs well at his age,”
“Come on, let’s tell you it’s possible. His salary? Yeah, it’s really expensive.” (Telefoot)
