Jack Clarke’s Spurs transfer can be announced any moment as reliable sources for Sky have revealed the player has passed his medical at Spurs. Fans were anxious since no signings could be announced despite a number of players being liked heavily with Spurs but they can now relax as Tottenham’s transfer show is live now.

Jack Clarke is not going to play immediately

Jack Clarke to Spurs may have turned the heads of many Tottenham fans who wanted to know what all the fuss is about. Clarke is an 18 year old left winger who made only four starts for Championship hopefuls Leeds United last season. However, he was extensively played off the bench by Marcelo Bielsa attracting Tottenham’s attention.

Tottenham will pay £8.5 million upfront to Leeds with performance bonuses and add-ons taking the deal to a total worth of £13 million.

Jack Clarke to Spurs is the club’s first signing since January 2018

Jack Clarke has completed a medical in London with Tottenham meaning he will arrive in London from the Elland road side. It is not yet clear whether Leeds will get him back on loan for the next season. He will be Spurs’ first signing since the club signed Lucas Moura from PSG in 2018.

Tottenham fans will now hope that Jack Clarke’s Spurs transfer will be followed soon by Tanguy NDombele’s imminent arrival at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium. Clarke’s move was held back due to the seizure he had suffered during a Leeds game in February. Now, having cleared the medical, it should be hours before the club announces it’s new signing.
