Jack Grealish has been praised by the Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his fantastic display for Aston Villa in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Grealish scored a stunning opener for Aston Villa at Old Trafford as the newly-promoted side held the Red Devils to a draw to earn an important point.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Sunday, Solskjaer was asked if Grealish was the type of player that Manchester United could target.
And Solskjaer replied (via Metro):
I can’t talk too much about other teams’ players if they are Man United calibre or targets.
But a fantastic goal. I think he’s hit one of those corners that I’ve hit a couple of times.
It was a great finish but then again we should defend better and show him down the left. But what a goal and he played a good game, definitely.
Manchester United will now look to try and get back to winning ways when the Red Devils take on Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils have struggled to find consistent form this season and they have only won four of their opening 14 games in the top flight.
