Manchester United’s performance at Everton on Sunday was way worse than any single game the Red-Devils lost in the David Moyes era according to Jamie Carragher.
“He’s got major problems and it’s a much bigger job than he thought,” Jamie Carragher said
“I actually questioned myself really because when it was turned around at Man United at the start under Solskjaer, you start thinking ‘I was wrong what I’ve been saying about these players for two or three years’.
“In some ways I’m happy with what I saw because I’ve though ‘No, I have been watching the same thing’.
“The blip was the three months of really playing well, that was the difference, this is the norm that we’ve been seeing for a few years.
“Five years ago David Moyes went to Goodison as a Man United manager, I think it’s five years to the day almost.
“They lost 2-0, he lost his job I think a couple of days later.
“I’m not saying about Solskjaer losing his job, but that performance [on Sunday] was a million times worse than what I saw on that day.
“Obviously since United last won the title, I joined Sky Sports, that is the worst performance I’ve seen I think from Man United in that time and that takes something.”
