Jamie Carragher currently works as a pundit for Sky Sports. He can be heard every week in studio giving his views on Premier League matches.
Since it is the business end of the season, he gets asked a lot who he thinks is winning the league. Being a hero at Anfield, he naturally sides with the Reds most of the times.
Since the international break though, he has changed his mind. When the Premier League resumed after the international break, he thought City would go on to win it easily. However, Liverpool have given him doubts by winning all their games since the break.
Now, City are second with a game in hand and Carragher can’t help but dream that the trophy might just come to Liverpool.
“I think after this international break City were big favourites for me,”
“They were in the box seat.
“I think Liverpool coming through Spurs, Southampton, Chelsea, even though City have a one-point lead and better goal difference, I think the league’s 50-50 now.
“I’ve always thought City were in front.
“Liverpool had to get over these three games and then the four left.
“Right now, I couldn’t split them.”
