Jose Mourinho keen on signing Dean Henderson from Manchester United

Jose Mourinho is said to be keen on bringing on-loan Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to the Daily Mail. The young England goalkeeper has been one of the standout performers at Sheffield United on loan this season.

This is Henderson’s second season on loan at Sheffield United under Chris Wilder and played a crucial role for the Blades last season while helping them gain promotion from the Championship last term. In the 46 games he played for Wilder’s side, the 22-year-old managed to keep 21 clean sheets, conceding only 41 goals.

This season, he seems to have continued from where he had left. He has conceded just 21 goals in 25 Premier League outings, and despite Sheffield United only just being promoted – Henderson sits joint top of the clean sheet rankings with nine, level with Alisson.

Now, reports claim that Tottenham are keen on signing Henderson which would see Mourinho raid former side United. However, Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to land Henderson, while Chelsea and Sheffield United are also keen.

  1. Let Moriniho have de Gae, I doubt we could get rid of him that easy though. Henderson is a far better, so is Romero.
