Various reports suggest Bournemouth striker Joshua King is highly interested in returning to Manchester United on the final day of the January transfer window.
According to The Mail, Manchester United put up a bid of £20million for the player, but it seems the offer was not taken seriously by the Bournemouth officials.
Reports (David Ornstein) suggest that King, who only made two senior appearances for Man Utd, is ready to return to Old Trafford if an agreement can be sealed between the two Premier League sides.
Sky Sports claim that any move for the attacker is dependent on Howe finding a replacement.
Journalist Graeme Bailey tweeted two hours back that Bournemouth are looking to get over £50million for their prized asset and because of that high an asking price, the deal looks highly unlikely.
In all fairness, the valuation of £50million is way too big keeping in view that Joshua King’s current contract with the Dean Court outfit will expire next year. So, £30million seems much more realistic.
