Manchester United made a brilliant start against Chelsea with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James getting on the score sheet in the 4-0 win.
The game against Wolves was a disappointment, especially the second half after Anthony Martial put us in front inside the first thirty minutes.
Jesse Lingard was one of the players who was severely criticized for his performance at the Molineux Stadium, as well as Paul Pogba, who missed the crucial penalty in the 1-1 draw against Wolves.
And now, if the current reports are to be believed, Juan Mata and Mason Greenwood, who came on as a substitute in that game, are set to be handed their first start of the current campaign at the expense of Daniel James and Jesse Lingard.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to line up in the 4-2-3-1 formation against the Eagles, with the front four consisting of Marcus Rashford upfront, Anthony Martial on the left, Juan Mata in the middle and Mason Greenwood on the right.
There are no injury concerns for Solskjaer as of yet with Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah as the only long term absentees, however, Alexis Sanchez won’t be involved as the Chilean is expected to complete a loan move to Inter Milan, as soon as possible.
There’s also a case of Andreas Pereira returning to the line-up but, in that case, either of Juan Mata or Mason Greenwood will have to drop to the bench.
Expected Starting Eleven: David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw; Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial; Marcus Rashford
Will you be happy with the above lineup, or would you propose any changes?
