The biggest game of our season is just around the corner and as you can imagine, everybody is chipping in with their takes on the game.
Juan Mata, who had been dealing with a few injury problems was recently inquired as to how the Red Devils are approaching the game given the expectations from the fans and the massive pressure of playing against Barcelona.
“As you can imagine, we are preparing for the game with cool heads, but at the same time we are training with plenty of intensity.”
“We sense what the fans are feeling in the days leading up to the game, and we are sure that the atmosphere at Old Trafford on Wednesday will be incredible.
“We come into this week having lost in the Premier League against Wolves, so it goes without saying that we are aware that if we aren’t at our best, fully concentrated and prepared, it will be tough to get a positive result.”
Juan Mata is one of the coolest heads in the Manchester United dressing room and while it is more than likely that he won’t start the game, the Spaniard will definitely have some part to play in the fixture:
“Personally, I feel good,” Mata added. “I have fully recovered from the injury which I picked up a few weeks ago and I am motivated to finish the season well with my teammates.”
That’s Good to hear Juan. Good luck for the rest of the season!
