According to the reports, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp may have to wait to sign their summer transfer target Timo Werner, Dailystar
It’s been reported that none of the clubs have come forward with any offers as of yet for the German international, whose contract is expiring next summer.
Liverpool has been earlier linked with a move for Werner, while Bayern Munich had also shown their interest in the striker.
Jurgen Klopp’s hope of signing Werner had reportedly increased amid reports that Bayern had pulled off their interest in signing the striker as they were unwilling to pay Leipzig’s £50m valuation fee for the German star.
Now, it has to be seen whether or not the Merseyside club will step up their move for the talented German striker in the coming days.
Werner has chipped in 61 goals in 114 appearances for Leipzig and has become one of the most sought after players in the German football.
If Klopp is able to seal the deal for the German Striker, it could be a great opportunity for Werner to show his calibre at the Anfield.
The Liverpool boss, riding on the success of Champions League, is keen to build a strong squad for the next season.
